Emma Bowdler - Girls Got Heart One sleep to go! (a message from Emma on the eve of her 285km bike ride)
This week has been my toughest yet :-(
A minor disk and nerve injury in my back has seen my off the bike for the last week. Thankfully the team Hip Sport Spine Physiotherapy have been amazing and Lesley Goff has more strapping tape to keep this old girl in one piece!
Lesley Goff and I are flying the flag for Toowoomba, Dalby and the for all of our rural and remote clients raising money for Girls Got Heart and the Heart Foundation. A team of 35 women, 15 support crew, will cover 285km in 2 days. Heart bus 2 is now on the road, now are are aiming for Heart Bus 3!
Shout out to the following people and businesses who have helped me along the way:
Dennis Bullpitt, Toowoomba Steering & suspension, Cate Bowdler, Anne Fix, Cathi Taylor, Millers Gourmet Meats, Nichole Robinson, Helen Quigley, Dan Quigley, Debbie Nicholls, Sandy Dolley, Sara Dolley, Phil & Beryl Bougoure, DRP Coaching and everyone who has bought fundraising chocolates in the office!
The areas we will cover include Harrisville, Kalbar, Boonah, Beaudesert & Jimboomba. If you are in the area, we would LOVE to see you! Make sure you follow the Girls Got Heart Facebook page for updates along the way.
It isn't too late to donate. Help us make a difference. Thanks for all your support! I will make sure I update along the way!
